The easiest way in the world to make a classic pecan pie that is perfect every time!

The San Saba River area of Texas is known for their pecan orchards, and the Great San Saba River Pecan Company has loaded this unbelievable pecan pie mix with the choicest pecans available! Follow these simple instructions for perfect pecan pie:

  1. Remove jar lid, microwave for 1 minute. This allows filling to be removed easily.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat 3 eggs with a fork for one 9" deep dish pie or use 4 eggs for two 9" regular pies. Beat just until the yolk and white are well mixed.
  3. Add 4 Tablespoons melted butter
  4. Stir filling into eggs, blend with fork until well mixed.
  5. Pour into prepared pie shell (unbaked)
  6. Bake 9" deep dish pine in oven at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes or two regular 9" pies at 300 degrees for 50 minutes. Shake the pie slightly to test for doneness. Center should move like gelaltin. Pie will "fall" after removing from oven. You may carefully level the nuts as it falls.
  7. Cool pie overnight, or at least 4 hours until set.
  8. Serve with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Important note: If using homemade pie dough, pre-bake pie shell 15 minutes at 300 degrees before filling.

1.8 lb. jar
