Augie Treats Original Granola
- THE STORY
Ex-city gal turned upstate New Yorker Nancy Booke is obsessed with the best when it comes to food and, in particular, the simply-to-die-for granola she began casually making so as to have a healthy snack while on long walks with her Newfoundland, named Augie. Booke meticulously tracks down each and every ingredient, and the result is a granola unlike anything else we've ever tried.
With amazing texture and depth of flavor, each and every Augie bite tastes different. Booke starts with top-shelf ingredients - whole, organic rolled oats, pure maple syrup, extra virgin olive oil, and just the right amount of sea salt. An assortment of organic dried fruits, perfectly roasted nuts, and even chocolate complete the three different blends.
Original. Sunny Day. Dark Chocolate Chunk. Try one or try them all. You'll be hooked. We are. This is truly something special.
Augie Treats is a Hudson Valley bakery founded by formerly NYC-based chef and designer Nancy Booke. Seeking a life closer to nature, she moved with her family to a historic house in Pine Plains, New York . Having realized childhood dreams of raising chickens and acquiring a Newfoundland dog, Nancy turned her attention to baking.
Friends and neighbors loved her signature granola and before long she was packing it up for sale in local markets. Customers raved, and Nancy built a large scale bakery at home to make Augie Treats available to all. Augie Treats' Granola is baked in small batches using carefully sourced ingredients, organic and local whenever possible. Augie Treats' spiritual leader and icon is Augie the Newfoundland.
