Bleu cheese, goat cheese, brie cheese......the sweet & savory combination of figs, sweet onion and rosemary pairs perfectly with them all! Serve with a warm loaf of French bread or flatbread, marcona almonds and an assortment of fruit for a sophisticated appetizer. The figs and rosemary make a lovely accompaniment to pork as well. Mix with apple cider vinegar, olive oil and fresh garlic and use as a glaze for pork tenderloin or roast.

Sallie makes herbal and fruit jams from scratch, the old fashioned way. She utilizes only fresh, local berries and produce that is grown on the farm of her neighbor and business partner, Monty Rast. She grows many of the herbs she uses in her jams herself, and says the fruit and herb combination "just came to her."
Sallie, who's previous career was in medical sales, returned to South Carolina in 2005 and started experimenting with various fruit and herb combinations. What began as a hobby has morphed into something much more.
Sallie's Greatest Jams are made with just the right amount of natural sugar necessary for preservation, desired consistency and safety in jam making. Sustainability, support of the local farmer, and a sense of community are what her line of herbal-infused jams is all about.
The jams are perfect accompaniments to almost any cheese imaginable. We promise, you won't stop there. Whisked into salad dressings, slathered on breakfast breads, perched atop ice cream, or spread between layers of a cake or trifle, you will find many ways to enjoy them.
