Rustichella d'Abruzzo Orzo Pasta
Italy's Finest Orzo
The classic use of orzo is in soups, but it's also excellent in salads or, like the rice it resembles, can be used to stuff vegetables. It's also surprisingly good alongside meatballs.

Since the early 1900's, the pastas from Rustichella d'Abruzzo have been crafted from two simple ingredients: stone ground durum wheat and pure spring water. The result is a spectacular-tasting pasta, worth a place in your pantry.
Orzo, meaning "barley" in Italian, is so named because of its grain-like shape, but some say that it more closely resembles large grains of rice or melon seeds. No matter how you look at it, Orzo is a quick and versatile pastina (little pasta). Made with high quality semolina, Rustichella d'Abruzzo Orzo resists mushiness, keeping its shape and pleasurable texture through cooking. Use it in soup, make a Greek-style pasta salad with seafood, cherry tomatoes, feta and lemon vinaigrette, or serve as an easy side dish with pesto.
