One Hot Ginger
This blend of bourbon, Grand Marnier, cayenne pepper, and ginger mashes up the hot toddy with a classic juice bar cold remedy for a double-duty winter drink.
- 4-1/2 ounce hot water
- 1-1/2 ounce bourbon
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 ounce ginger syrup
- 3/4 ounce Grand Marnier
- 2 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- orange twist
Pour the hot water, bourbon, lemon juice, ginger syrup, Grand Marnier, and bitters into a tempered mug. Add the cayenne and stir. Express an orange twist over the glass and drop into the glass.
