A blood orange beauty. Here the lovely bitter-honey flavor of Cynar gets the spotlight, fizzed up with splashes of Prosecco and soda water.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounce Cynar
  • 3/4 ounce fresh blood orange, regular orange juice, or blood orange cordial
  • 3 ounce Prosecco, chilled
  • 1 1/2 ounce soda water, chilled
  • 1 dried orange wheel, for garnish
  • 1 rosemary sprig, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Fill a wineglass three-quarters full with ice.
  2. Pour the Cynar, blood orange juice, and prosecco over the ice.
  3. Top with the soda water and gently stir to combine.
  4. Tuck the orange wheel between the ice and the side of the glass.
  5. Garnish with the rosemary sprig.
